A 15 minute demo I did for my Life Drawing students today (no reference - this was for costume design students who must create characters and clothe them, so we talked about starting drawings with big shapes, loose gesture, lots of scribbles and the ‘pulling’ details out of that jumble of marks on the page - it’s a great exercise - try it!).
